By purchasing a ticket and attending an event hosted by Breaking Barriers (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Participation & Personal Responsibility

All attendees are responsible for their own well-being, behavior, and participation.

If an attendee requires a caregiver, personal assistant, or support companion, it is their responsibility to arrange for and bring the necessary support. Breaking Barriers does not provide personal care, medical assistance, or one-on-one supervision.

Breaking Barriers is not responsible for transportation to or from the event.
2. Health & Safety

Attendees participate at their own risk. Breaking Barriers is not responsible for any injuries, medical emergencies, or health-related incidents that occur during an event.

If an attendee has specific medical needs, they must manage them independently or with their designated caregiver.
3. Code of Conduct

Breaking Barriers aims to create a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.

Any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior—including harassment, aggression, or refusal to follow event guidelines—may result in removal from the event without a refund.

Event facilitators and staff have the final say in determining what constitutes disruptive behavior.
4. Refund & Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued except in cases where an event is canceled by Breaking Barriers.

If an attendee is asked to leave due to violating these terms, they will not be entitled to a refund.
5. Event Changes & Cancellations

Breaking Barriers reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. If an event is canceled, ticket holders will be notified and offered a refund or credit for a future event.
6. Media & Photography

By attending a Breaking Barriers event, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify a staff member before the event.
7. Liability Waiver
By attending a Breaking Barriers event, you agree to release and hold harmless Breaking Barriers, its employees, contractors, and event partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses resulting from your participation.
